3 Years Running
Glashütte and Singapore have a lot in common. Firstly, we're both islands, well not exactly in the literal sense with Glashütte being landlocked and all. But, any watchmaking hub worth its salt tends to operate as an island. Cut off from the rest of the world; it's the sort of self-imposed isolation that's needed to make killer watches.
And secondly, we both really like watches!
A lot is happening in 2019. We're celebrating 40 years of The Hour Glass, Singapore's bicentennial and our third year collaborating with NOMOS Glashütte. In 2017, we unveiled our take on the NOMOS Zurich Worldtime wristwatch. 2018 saw us release two variants of a NOMOS classic, the Tangente. One in Salmon and the other in Midnight Blue. This year, we've doubled down by unveiling four Commemorative Tangente neomatik 39 wristwatches. Two with Oracle-bone script and two with Hindu-Arabic hour markers. It's a nod to both the diversity of wristwatch collectors around the world and the seemingly endless ability of watchmakers to find inspiration and beauty in the world around them. And to then channel that passion into a watch! Limited to 200 (50 in each variation).
